Award winning comedian Lee Evans is back and will be touring all-round the UK and Ireland in 2014. Lee Evans announced his new stand up tour – Monsters.

Starting over a decade ago in the world of stand-up the Bristol born comedian has had four huge tours to date: “The Weird and Wonderful” in 2002, “XL Tour” in 2005, “Big Tour” in 2008 and then finally the “Roadrunner Tour” in 2011. After breaking all kinds of records and selling out huge arena’s along the way to a calculated audience of over 1,605,000 people – many thought Roadrunner would be the final show from Lee Evans. However, he has pleasantly surprised fans with the announcement of the Monsters tour which is scheduled to have 51 dates in various area’s across the UK and Ireland with a further four shows taken place at Wembley stadium.

Lee Evans break came in 2003 when he won the Perrier Comedy Award for his work at the Edinburgh Festival. Since, the legendary British stand-up comedian was known for his hilarious and also sweaty performances. Evans also broke the record for performing the biggest comedian audience in front of over 10,000 people at the Manchester Arena in 2005.

Evans’s agency, Off The Kerb says: “Lee’s manic energy, uncanny observations, hilarious delivery and side-splitting material have made his live performances a must-see for comedy fans worldwide.”

The arena tour will begin in August of next year and finish on the 30th November. Despite being well over a year away demand for tickets is already expected to be high as last time around, request for Roadrunners tickets was again another record breaking antic with 227,424 tickets being sold within the first day.
