Tom Odell – UK Tour 2013
Tom Odell, prepares to embark on his second tour supporting his debut studio album “Long Way Down”. Having already earned himself a BRITS award, we are more than positive it’s going to be a show to remember.
The opening night of the tour will take place in the Guildhall in Southampton on the 11th of October. Tom will then make his way to the following locations around the UK: Cardiff, Cambridge, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Newcastle, London (x2), Norwich, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol and Sheffield. His final performance will take place in Liverpool on the 31st of October rounding off what is set to be an epic concert.
This tour came as no surprise as Odell’s previous tour was a sell out. The popular demand of the previous tour resulted in this October tour accompanied by 2 dates in Shepherds Bush Empire, London.
Since his late teens Tom Odell knew his dream was to work within the music industry. He spent a lot of his time travelling to and from London, working with bands and advertising their music. Finally, he decided to go solo after stating that he “longer wanted to rely on other people”. It turned out to be the best decision he has made to date, having been spotted by Lily Allen the label head of “In The Name Of”.
Being named the winner of the BRITS critic choice award has compared Tom Odell to the likes of Adele and Florence and the Machine who have won it previously. Not only that, but the recent recognition he has received has allowed him to have the opportunity to support The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park on July 13th 2013. We’re sure anything he learns from those guys will only add to what will be an amazing tour this October! Tom Odell Tickets available here:
