The Eagles – History of The Eagles 2014 Tour
The Eagles are coming to the UK with their History of The Eagles 2014 tour. The American rock band confirmed a seven concert UK Tour in May and June 2014. The Eagles tickets are on-sale now.
All-American superstars The Eagles will open the UK leg of their world tour on Wednesday, May 28th at the LG Arena in Birmingham and continue with two gigs at the Hydro in Glasgow and The O2 Arena in London. Glenn Frey and Co. will move on to a concert at the First Direct Arena in Leeds and the final gig at the Phones4U Arena in Manchester on June 25th.
2009 was the last time the Eagles played in the UK. This time, the band will bring History Of The Eagles to the UK and it will be a very special tour for The Eagles. Back in April, Eagle Glenn Frey told Classic Rock Magazine “I don’t want to say it’s our last world tour, but it very well could be.”
The Eagles are one of the best-selling bands of all time having sold over 150 million records. No other band has ever sold more records. Some of their biggest albums are “Their Greatest Hits” and “Hotel California”. The band also won six Grammys.
The Eagles original members Glenn Frey and Don Henley are major part of the tour. Randy Meisner is unlikely to participate due to health problems. The expected line-up is Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy Schmit. Highlights of the tour will certainly be the great hits such as “Take It Easy“, “Witchy Woman” and “Tequila Sunrise.”
